PDO Thread Lift in Eastvale, CA
Achieve immediate facial contouring, a subtle lift, and progressive skin firming. PDO threads are absorbable sutures that rejuvenate the face and body by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production, delivering a natural, refreshed appearance without surgery at our Eastvale med spa.
What Is PDO Thread Lift?
PDO (Polydioxanone) threads are absorbable sutures made of a material safely used in cardiovascular surgery for decades. When inserted into the subcutaneous layer of the skin, barbed (cog) threads provide an immediate mechanical lift, while smooth and tornado threads stimulate overall skin tightening and crepiness. As the threads naturally dissolve over approximately 4–6 months, they trigger a continuous “foreign body reaction” that stimulates fibroblasts to generate new collagen and elastin in the treated areas. This bio-stimulation is what locks in your improved contour, structure, and reduced skin laxity for long-lasting results.

Thinking of a PDO Thread Lift, but Not Sure Where to Start?
One of the biggest mistakes people make is waiting until sagging skin becomes more advanced. PDO threads help lift and support the skin while stimulating collagen production for natural-looking rejuvenation.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
1. Free Consultation
We start with a thorough facial assessment and a conversation about your goals. We’ll mark the vectors for the lift and walk you through the full plan before any treatment begins.
2. Treatment (60-90 min)
The appointment includes pre-procedure cleansing, application of topical and local anesthesia at the entry points for maximum comfort, and the careful insertion and anchoring of the threads. The entire treatment typically takes 60–90 minutes depending on the area.
3. Results & Follow-Up
You will see an immediate lift, followed by progressive improvements in skin quality over the next 3–6 months as new collagen forms. We schedule a follow-up (typically 2–4 weeks post-procedure) to monitor your progress and plan any necessary adjustments or additional sessions.
Before & After Results

FAQs
How long do PDO Thread Lift results last?
The immediate physical lift is visible right away, and the results from collagen stimulation can last 12 to 18 months. The threads themselves are fully absorbed by the body in about 4–6 months.
Is there downtime after a PDO Thread Lift?
Downtime is generally minimal compared to surgery. You may experience moderate to severe swelling and bruising. You must avoid alcohol, NSAIDs, fish oil, and Vitamin E for 48–72 hours prior to the procedure (to reduce bruising). Post-treatment, you must avoid makeup for 24 hours, sun exposure, and vigorous exercise. Avoid major dental work for at least two weeks.
Is the PDO Thread Lift safe?
Yes. PDO threads are made of an absorbable material that has been used in medical sutures for many years. It is considered a safe, minimally invasive procedure when performed by a skilled professional. However, it is an absolute contraindication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection, or suffer from autoimmune or bleeding disorders.
How many treatments will I need?
In many cases, a single comprehensive thread lift session is enough to achieve a beautiful result. However, some patients may require a touch-up a few months later, and to maintain optimal results, the treatment is typically repeated every 1–2 years. Your personalized plan will be discussed during your consultation.
