EZ-Gel / PRF

Regenerative Rejuvenation. Made From You.

EZ-Gel is an autologous treatment created using components from the patient’s own blood. It may be used in provider-selected areas where volume support, collagen stimulation, or regenerative rejuvenation may be appropriate.

At JT Aesthetic & Co., treatment is personalized to the individual, with candidacy, treatment areas, and follow-up determined by a licensed provider.

What is EZ-Gel?

A Regenerative Approach to Volume and Skin Rejuvenation.

A PRF centrifuge used to prepare components from a blood sample

EZ-Gel is created by drawing a small amount of the patient’s own blood, separating regenerative components, and combining liquid PRF with prepared plasma albumin to form an injectable gel.

Because the finished gel is made from the patient’s own blood, it is considered an autologous treatment.

Depending on the individual treatment plan, EZ-Gel may be used to provide selected volume support while also supporting regenerative changes over time.

Benefits of EZ-Gel / PRF

For appropriately selected patients, EZ-Gel may offer:

  • An autologous treatment option made from the patient’s own blood
  • Selected volume support
  • Progressive regenerative effects
  • Collagen-supporting benefits
  • Treatment options for several facial areas
  • A personalized alternative or complement to traditional dermal filler

Some volume change may be visible shortly after treatment, while regenerative changes may continue to develop progressively. Individual timing, durability, and results vary.

Treatment areas

Personalized to the Face and the Goal.

Potential treatment areas may include:

  • Under-eye hollows
  • Cheeks
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Chin and jawline
  • Crow’s feet
  • Lines around the lips
  • Lips

Listing an area does not mean every patient is automatically a candidate. Treatment areas are selected by the provider based on anatomy, medical history, goals, and overall treatment plan.

EZ-Gel for the under-eye area

A Regenerative Option for Selected Under-Eye Concerns.

The under-eye area is one of the areas that may be considered for EZ-Gel treatment.

For appropriately selected patients, the treatment may be used when volume support or regenerative rejuvenation is part of the goal.

Because under-eye concerns can have different causes, provider assessment is important.

EZ-Gel may not be the right option for every patient or every type of under-eye concern.

EZ-Gel vs. traditional dermal filler

Different Approaches for Different Goals.

EZ-Gel and traditional dermal fillers are not the same treatment.

EZ-Gel

EZ-Gel is prepared using components from the patient’s own blood and may provide both selected volume support and progressive regenerative effects.

Traditional Dermal Fillers

Traditional dermal fillers use manufactured injectable products and may be selected when contour or volume restoration is the primary goal.

Neither option is automatically better.

A provider may recommend EZ-Gel, traditional filler, another regenerative treatment, or a different approach based on anatomy and the desired outcome. JT’s training material specifically directs providers to compare EZ-Gel with alternatives based on the individual patient.

What to Expect

Consultation

A licensed provider reviews the treatment goals, medical history, medications, previous treatments, ability to undergo a blood draw, and the area being considered.

A consultation and chart review are required before the first treatment. Same-day treatment may be possible when approved by the provider and adequate preparation time is available.

Preparation

A small amount of blood is drawn and processed using the EZ-Gel system to isolate the components used to create the final injectable gel.

Treatment

Topical numbing may be used according to JT’s approved protocol. Patients may feel a pinch from the blood draw and pressure or brief discomfort during injection.

Recovery

Temporary effects may include:

  • Swelling
  • Tenderness
  • Bruising
  • Redness at the injection site

Recovery varies, so JT does not promise “zero downtime.”

Results

Immediate Support. Progressive Change.

Some volume change may be visible soon after treatment.

The regenerative component develops more gradually, so changes may continue to evolve over time.

The number of sessions, timing of follow-up, and maintenance plan are individualized. JT’s training materials specifically state that research treatment schedules should not be presented as a universal treatment plan for every patient.

Before & After Treatment

JT’s current EZ-Gel protocol advises patients to begin hydration before treatment and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand. Medication changes should only be made under the direction of the prescribing clinician or JT provider.

After treatment, temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising may occur. Patients should follow the written JT aftercare instructions and contact the clinic for anything severe, rapidly worsening, or unexpected.

Frequently Asked Questions

EZ-Gel uses liquid PRF as one of the components in the final product. It is combined with prepared plasma albumin to create the injectable gel.

EZ-Gel can provide selected volume support, but it is not the same as a traditional synthetic dermal filler. It is prepared from the patient’s own blood and is used as an autologous regenerative treatment.

Some volume change may be noticeable shortly after treatment, while regenerative changes develop gradually. Timing varies by individual.

There is no universal number. Your provider will recommend a personalized plan based on treatment goals, anatomy, and response.

Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, and bruising may occur. Recovery varies by patient and treatment area.

No. Candidacy is determined by a licensed provider after reviewing medical history, medications, treatment goals, and the planned treatment area.

Potentially. A provider may compare EZ-Gel with PRF/PRP approaches, dermal filler, other biostimulatory treatments, or other options depending on the patient’s goals.
